Bournemouth winger Jordon Ibe was reportedly the victim of a £25,000 robbery.
The ex-Liverpool winger, who moved to the south coast in a £15million deal over the summer, was hit by a vehicle containing four men, who threatened Ibe with a knife before taking off with his watch on November 6,
according to The Sun.
The incident allegedly occurred near Surrey Quays rail station in south east London.
Police are believed to be probing the incident.
Suprisingly, Ibe and his Cherries teammate Jack Wilshere have since received tweets from former Swansea and Wycombe striker Leon Knight, alleging that he can return the watch for a price.

Knight wrote: “@JackWilshere holla at Jordan Ibe or whatever his name is. The ex Liverpool don playing for u. I can get back his iced out kettle" [rhyming slang for watch].
“Yo @IbeJordon It’s about that day in Surrey keys... where them boys stripped u down in the shopping centre.
“Can’t get back the watch for nothing tho. The roads don’t work like that. Road men look at it like, I’VE risked my freedom for that watch.”
The tweets have since been deleted.

ANALYSIS: The Blues are blowing everybody away at the moment with their 3-4-3 formation. Chelsea's formidable defence line, leaves every PL Manager with a puzzle, and it surely would be a major concern for Aitor Karanka.

Jose Mourinho criticized Manchester United defenders Chris Smalling and Luke Shaw a fortnight ago for refusing to play through the pain barrier at Swansea.
It subsequently emerged that Smalling was suffering from a broken toe that is likely to keep him out for a month.
But Mourinho, speaking at a press conference at United's Carrington training HQ on Friday ahead of Saturday's lunchtime clash with Arsenal , was angry at the way that story had emerged.
"Chris Smalling you cannot ask [about], because you have your sources, you trust your sources, you believe your sources tell you," said Mourinho.
"You did that for 15 days, so now you are not going to ask me to comment on your sources so on Chris Smalling I don't comment.
"You have your trustful relationship with your sources, you wrote, you spoke, you comment, you criticise, I don't say a word about Chris Smalling.
"You do the big headlines with your sources and now I'm not interested.
And on Luke Shaw, Mourinho said;
"Luke Shaw worked well in this period where we had a very small group but he worked really well, so he is ready to play. I don't have any problem with him.
''I don't say if he plays, but he is my player, a young player with potential.
"Like every young player he has things to learn, but he is a player of my confidence."
JOSE MOURINHO: I'M HERE TO STAY.
Jose Mourinho has revealed his plan for Manchester United and insists he is ''here'' to stay at Old Trafford.
The Portuguese insisted his vision for the Red Devils has not changed despite a disappointing start to the season.
Manchester United are sixth after 11 games and is six points off fourth and eight off leaders Liverpool, but the 53-year old boss has pointed to his credentials to tell the World that he always achieves success.
"I am in the club where I want to be. I was champion in four different clubs: Porto, Real Madrid, Inter and Chelsea," Mourinho said in his weekly press-conference.
"I want to be champion in every club I work, which is quite a nice record if I can do that, so I want to do that at Manchester United.
"I want to win a ninth championship and a fourth Premier League.
"I didn't sign a one year contract, I signed a three year contract." Wayne Rooney, the United skipper.
Rooney was forced to issue a public apology after pictures emerged of him drinking until the early hours following England's 3-0 World Cup qualifier win over Scotland.
Mourinho was expectedly coy on the issue and insisted that his Captain had trained well this week and was in contention to play in Saturday lunchtime's Premier League clash with Arsenal at Old.
"Over the last two or three days, nothing happened," said Mourinho. He [Rooney] trained like everybody else, he wants to play like everybody else. He's ready.
"What happened in the national team happened in the national team, I don't comment.
"My players, when they go there, belong to the national team and I don't like to comment."

STATS: HARRY KANE has SCORED three times in his last two games against West Ham at White Hart Lane. He has also scored 15 Premier League goals in his last London derbies.
