Nothing could separate them this afternoon.
Philippe Cotinho was surprisingly included in the starting eleven. Though it was Liverpool's Senegalese forward Saido Mane Who came closest on three different occasions but was superbly denied by Spurs' Vorm on each occasion.
However, at the 43rd minute, James Milner slotted in Liverpool's goal from the penalty spot.
Milner sends Vorm the wrong way.
In the 71st minute, Danny Rose levelled proceedings. A long ball found Dier who stayed just onside. Dier found Rose at the far post and the left back took one touch to settle the ball and then hit it hard beyond Mignolet to share the spoils.
