MOURINHO REVEALS TRANSFER PLANS FOR NEXT SEASON.

Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has had to change his summer transfer plans following
Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Marcos Rojo's knee injuries.

The club compared that the pair both suffered 'significant' ligament damage in the Europa Cup quarter-final second leg win over Anderlecht and could be out for the rest of the year, report the Manchester Evening News.

The injury to Ibrahimovic means that the Swede is now unlikely to stay on for a second season at Old Trafford, but the Red Devils had already been looking into alternatives in case he had decided not to sign on for next season.

Torino striker Andrea Belotti and Everton figurehead Romelu Lukaku, both 23, have been monitored while United wanted to sign Antoine Griezmann irrespective of whether Ibrahimovic stayed or left.

When asked whether United's plans had altered, Mourinho replied: "Yes. Yes. Because if I don’t have the players for a long period of time, obviously it affects."
Eric Bailly was the only defender to arrive at United last summer but Rojo's injury could force Mourinho to make two defensive additions.
United have shown interest in Benfica centre half Victor Lindelof, Atletico Madrid defender Jose Gimenez and Paris Saint-Germain centre-back Marquinhos, Mourinho also retains an interest in his former player Raphael Varane - still at Real - and Atheltic Bilbao's highly-coveted Aymeric Laporte, who is represented by Mourinho's agent Jorge Mendes.

Mourinho was unconvinced by the suggestion City are under greater pressure since the top four is their only route to qualifying for the Champions League.
Regardless of where they finish in the Premier League, United will qualify for the Champions League if they win the Europa League in May.

"I don’t know what they feel, the way they want to approach," Mourinho said.

"Our approach doesn't depend on the fact that we have another door open.

Our approach now is Manchester match, the next match is the most important one.

"We don’t have player A, B, C and D, we have others. We think about the others.

We organise the team with the others and we give everything we have to give and when we have given everything nobody can demand more from you."
ONLY ONE MAN. UTD. PLAYER WOULD HAVE MADE IT IN GUARDIOLA'S BARCA.

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has hailed Marcus Rashford as 'perfect' and leapt to the defence of Paul Pogba ahead of Thursday's
Manchester derby.

But despite his plaudits for that Red Devils duo, the Spaniard has identified Michael Carrick as the only Manchester United player who would have made it into his all-conquering Barcelona side, report the Manchester Evening News.

Pogba has been the subject of fierce criticism after his £89million move to Old Trafford in the summer, but Guardiola insists he is an 'outstanding' player who has played a lot better than his critics claim.

Jose Mourinho faces a desperate search this summer to find a holding player, who can influence the game in the manner of the 35-year-old.

Eric Dier has emerged as one candidate - and in Guardiola’s mind, only the very best will come close to Carrick.
He said: “I am a big fan of Michael Carrick.
“He is one of the best holding midfielders I’ve ever seen in my life by far.

“He’s the level of Xabi Alonso, Sergio Busquets in Barcelona and Munich.
“All of them (United’s English players) they are perfect.

“Rashford is a big talent, of course, and Lingard.
“England is safe, you have outstanding players.

“Not just here in City – United, Tottenham, Chelsea. Come on guys - you can do it, the International team.”
Finding the man to fill Carrick’s shoes will be crucial to exploiting Pogba’s talent to the fullest.

He never looked better than when anchored by Andrea Pirlo at Juventus - and his performances have been enhanced when Carrick is in the United team.

The French international, who has been ruled out of the derby with muscle fatigue, has been roundly criticised this term.

But Guardiola has no doubts about Pogba's quality.

“I met Paul Pogba for the first time when Bayern Munich played Juventus last season,” said Guardiola. “In both games I was really impressed.

“He played in 10 positions. He is an outstanding player and he can do absolutely everything.

“Sometimes it’s not easy to handle the expectations you have when you arrive here, especially with the amount of money, it wasn’t easy.
“I think he made a good season.”

DE GEA PUTS HIS HOUSE UP FOR SALE AS MOVE TO MADRID GATHERS PACE.

Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea has reportedly put his mansion up for sale.

The Sun say Spain No 1 De Gea's mansion in Bowdon, Trafford, has been slapped on the market with a £3.85million asking price.

The estate agent with which the property is listed says the five-bedroom home is in a "highly sought after residential location", says the Manchester Evening News.

Buyers without the funds to purchase the house outright face paying a £385,000 deposit to secure the property before paying £18,000-a-month in mortgage repayments over 25 years.

There’s an outdoor swimming pool, a gym and a tennis court and the property comes with electric security gates.

The property, according to the blurb, boasts three reception rooms plus a ‘stunning’ open-plan family dining kitchen.

It includes a self-contained two-bedroom apartment above and a cinema room - ‘ideal for a growing family’.

De Gea, 26, was signed by United from Atletico Madrid in 2011 for £17.8m but again has been linked with a move back to Spain with Real Madrid over recent months.

According to reports emerging in Spain, Real Madrid are preparing to table a massive summer bid of £60m to land the PFA Goalkeeper of the year.

De Gea is under contract at United until 2019 with the option of an additional year.

EDEN HAZARD SPEAKS ON HIS RELATIONSHIP WITH JOSE MOURINHO DURING THE PORTUGUESE'S TIME AT CHELSEA.

Chelsea star Eden Hazard has strongly hit back at reports that he had a falling out with Jose Mourinho and says he has a close relationship with the 'Special One', reports The Mirror.

Mourinho was sacked by Chelsea 18 months ago, just seven months after winning the Premier League title, following a nightmare start to the season as they hovered just above the relegation zone.

Hazard, who was voted player of the year the previous season, failed to show the same kind of form and Chelsea suffered nine defeats in the first 16 games.

The disappointing form showed by Hazard was said to be one of the major factors behind the club's slump and reports suggested that his relationship with Mourinho turned sour.

But the Belgian superstar is adamant that was not the case and says he always has a strong relationship with his manager.

Hazard, speaking on TF1's Telefoot, said: “With Jose I had a super rapport.

“The year before, I was the Player of the Season and maybe he expected more from me. I was not so good and it was complicated.

“I was always close with him and with Antonio Conte it’s the same.”

Hazard was asked about the differences between Mourinho and his current boss Conte and if the Italian coach has a different way of getting the best out of his players.

Hazard added: “They have different methods. Conte works a great deal on tactics but Mourinho let it be.

“For me, I had great moments with Mourinho for two years and this year with Conte everything is going very well.

I always take the positive from coaches.
“The two are different managers. They have always won, here and in the past.

Many people said I didn’t listen to Mourinho, but that’s not the case.

“It’s not at all the case, I’ve always had a lot of respect for him.”

WHY RASHFORD NOW TAKE SET-PIECES FOR MAN. UTD.

Jose Mourinho instructed Marcus Rashford to take free-kicks in Manchester United's win over Chelsea because he is "trustable".

Mourinho overlooked the likes of Paul Pogba, stand-in Captain, Ashley Young, as well as Ander Herrera in handing the teenager the responsibility.

But after United picked up all three points in a very convincing win, with goals by the teenage sensation Rashford and man of the match Herrera, it seems the decision paid off for the Special One.

"Marcus is trustable," Mourinho told MUTV, explaining why he picked Rashford as the man to whip balls into the area and shoot from dead-ball situations.

"Even for the second goal, his free-kick was really high, impossible to score from a header because it was to what we call the third post – not the first or second post.

"But he's always tense, he's always fast, and you can always trust that [he will make] strong contact with the ball.

"The ball always goes with speed with him. With some other guys, the ball goes in the right spot but slower.

Even if you win the duel in the air, it can be really difficult to score, so in this moment Marcus is one of the boys we trust.

"Because he's so young, he's able to keep developing that day after day; he's always with one of the assistant coaches trying to make it even better."

''WHY I CHOSE BARCA OVER MAN. UTD. ''...RONALDINHO.

Brazilian Legend, Ronaldinho looked destined for Old Trafford when he was leaving Paris St Germain in the summer of 2003 after United had a £30million bid accepted by the French outfit.

But the forward opted to join Barcelona instead after the Catalans made him their No 1 target following David Beckham's decision to join Real Madrid from United.

And Ronaldinho has admitted: “When I was leaving PSG and before I came to Barcelona I had that chance (to join United) - and I was very close.

“United are a big club and any player would like to play for a big club, but I think I chose the correct league and the correct club [Barcelona].

“Therefore I have no regrets.

“I’m fulfilled. There's a lot of clubs where any player would like to play so it's difficult to pick just one.

In every country there are two, three or four big teams and any player would love to be there.

“I had the chance to play for a lot of different teams in the Premier League, but I think all the choices I made were the right ones.”

In an interview with GQ Magazine, Ronaldinho won two La Liga titles and the Champions League at the Nou Camp before being sold to AC Milan in 2008 by Pep Guardiola maintains that his relationship with the then Barca Gaffer was good.

Ronaldinho said: “We're good friends. Because we got on so well he (Pep) understood that I wanted to leave and it was something that was made very easy for me because of our good relationship.

“I won everything that I could - I had other dreams. One was to go to Milan.”

The Brazilian, also won the FIFA World Cup, the Ballon d'or and other laurels in a highly decorated career.

BAYERN MUNICH'S MANUEL NUER WILL NOT PLAY AGAIN THIS SEASON.

Manuel Neuer's season is over after the German international suffered a broken foot in Tuesday night's Champions League defeat to Real Madrid.

The Bayern stopper fractured his left foot in extra-time during the 4-2 defeat at the Santiago Bernabeu, as Bayern crashed out of the competition 6-3 on aggregate on a controversial night in the Spanish capital.

Neuer - who last month underwent minor surgery on his left foot - suffered the fresh injury in the lead up to Cristiano Ronaldo's third goal.

And Bayern chief executive Karl-Heinz Rummenigge stated after initial tests:

"Manuel Neuer has injured himself badly, he will be out for eight weeks."
German champions Bayern also declared in a statement that Neuer would "undergo a thorough examination on arrival in Munich prior to a decision on the appropriate treatment".

Neuer is now set to miss the club's five remaining Bundesliga matches and, perhaps more importantly, next week's DFB Pokal semi-final clash with Borussia Dortmund.

Sven Ulreich is set to deputise in his stead.

On Bayern's the Champions elimination from the Champions League, Rummenigge, was delighted with Bayern's display and refused to blame the side for their loss, instead citing refereeing decisions as their undoing.

"Our team gave it everything, you mustn't forget that some of our players had knocks," he said on the club website.

"If you look at the displays turned in by (Jerome) Boateng, (Robert) Lewandowski (both of whom had faced races to be fit for the clash due to thigh and shoulder injuries respectively) or Manuel Neuer I can only take my hat off.

"It was magnificent football, but unfortunately the refereeing decisions went against us.

"The red card was a heavy blow of course. But if you blame the team you've seen the wrong match. It was a superb game."

ANDER HERRERA INCLUDES HIS TEAMMATE IN HIS SIX BEST PLAYERS IN THE WORLD.

Ander Herrera believes Manchester United target Antoine Griezmann is one of the best players in the world.

The Spaniard named him among Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo and Neymar when asked for his opinion on the game's greats.

Speaking to NBC about the best players in football, Herrera said: "In my opinion Eden Hazard has been the best player in the league this year."

"He's one of the best in the world. After Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo you have Neymar, Hazard, Griezmann and Paul [Pogba]."

Herrera who produced a man of the match performance in their 2-0 win over Chelsea on Sunday, is becoming very popular among the fans, as some supporters have started calling for Mourinho to make him the club's next permanent captain.

REVEALED! WHAT BAYERN MUNICH'S COACH SAID TO THE REFEREE FOLLOWING CHAMPIONS LEAGUE DEFEAT IN MADRID.

Bayern Munich boss Carlo Ancelotti spoke to Hungarian referee Viktor Kassai after his side were knocked out the Champions League by Real Madrid.

The official alongside his assistants came under fire for his display in the second-leg quarter-final clash, in which he wrongly dismissed Arturo Vidal and also failed to spot Cristiano Ronaldo's second and third goals that were scored from offside positions in the 6-3 aggregate win.

However, Ancelotti had something to say about the official, after watching his side crash out of Europe's elite competition at the Bernabeu.

"I will just say that the referee had a bad game, I spoke to him and I said 'good job'," said the Italian.

"I think we raised our game from the first leg and we played well, we deserved more but against Real Madrid it is always difficult.

"We deserved to lose in the first leg but not tonight."

CRISTIANO RONALDO IS NOT HAPPY WITH REAL MADRID SUPPORTERS.

Cristiano Ronaldo urged Real Madrid fans to stop whistling him after his headline treble helped eliminate Bayern Munich in the Champions League.

The Portuguese superstar scored his 100th goal in the competition as Real Madrid targets their 12th Champions League trophy.

Ronaldo levelled the scores after Robert Lewandowksi's opener as he headed home Casemiro's cross.

He turned towards the stands in celebration before putting his finger to his lips after being the subject of jeers during the first-half.

And he has admitted his disappointment with the Bernabeu faithful over their treatment.

"I just ask that they don't whistle me," he told Antena 3.
"I always give my best, I work and I help Real Madrid. I didn't tell them to be quiet – never.

"But I take the positive things. The team was good, we played well and obviously I'm happy with the goals."

"Madrid were the better side over the two legs without any doubt. Scoring six goals against Bayern isn't easy and we deserve to go through," he added.

"We are deserved winners. Number 12? No not yet but let's hope so."

ANDRES INIESTA CONFIDENT, BARCA WILL KNOCK JUVE OUT ON WEDNESDAY TO REACH THE SEMI FINALS.

Andres Iniesta believes Barcelona 'have the players and potential' to complete a sensational comeback when they take on Juventus in the second leg of their Champions League quarter-final on Wednesday.

Juventus won the first leg by 3-0 when they met in Turin with Paulo Dybala scoring two stunning goals within 22 minutes of play.

The defeat left Barcelona needing to overturn a huge deficit for the second time in as many rounds.

They lost 4-0 to Paris Saint-Germain in the French capital before completing a record-breaking comeback at the Nou Camp.

A similar performance is needed on Wednesday against a Juve side that has not conceded a Champions League goal since November.

Barca Captain, Iniesta, however believes that the Catalans are more than capable of progressing to the semis.

"We have the potential and the players to turn it around," he said at his pre-match press conference.

"We have to play a perfect game. We have to create the maximum number of chances and score goals.

"We need to be offensive and create chances. There is only one way to read it. We have to score goals; we need them."

He continued: "(The first leg) was a tough loss, but we're potent; we can sow doubt in our opponents and try to turn the tables.

"I have no doubt there will be a great atmosphere tomorrow — the fans will be behind us."

Manager Luis Enrique added: "Tomorrow will produce circumstances similar to the PSG game. If they score, we'll need five."

"We'll try until the very end. We'll do everything possible to have another historic night.

Speaking about the trip to Barcelona, Juventus striker Gonzalo Higuain said: “I don’t know whether our 3-0 lead will be enough.

''We have to come out fighting at the Camp Nou and play like we did in the first leg in Turin.

“Barcelona showed against PSG that they’re capable of producing miracles, so we have to be on our toes.

“They’ll be wary of us too, however. We’ll be looking to create opportunities to score and we’re certain that we have what it takes to reach the next round.”

ASHLEY YOUNG NOT SURE OF HIS MANCHESTER UNITED'S FUTURE.

Ashley Young admits his Manchester United future is uncertain.
Young turned down a lucrative move to Chinese Super League side Shandong in February to pledge his immediate future to Old Trafford.

Despite captaining United for the first time against Chelsea on Sunday, the win was only his sixth Premier League start of the campaign and he wants to play more regularly.

According to The Mirror, Young, 31, has another season left on his contract, plus the option of another year, and hinted he will look at his options again in the summer.

"There is always speculation, especially when there is a transfer window and you're not playing," he said.

"But I have always said that I want to play as much as possible. What the future holds, I'm not too sure."

Young was honoured to lead United out against Chelsea and says his focus is on trying to win the Europa League and qualify for the Champions League.

"I'm just concentrating on each game and when the manager calls on me, I will give 100 per cent and look to play as well as I can," he said.

"I'm looking to play as many games as I can between now and the end of the season.

That's what I'm concentrating on now. That's the main focus for me and then we'll see what happens."

NEVILLE REVEALS WHAT EDEN HAZARD SHOULD HAVE DONE TO ANDER HERRERA TO BEAT HIM ON SUNDAY.

Manchester United legend Gary Neville believes Eden Hazard still has some way to go before he can be considered one of the best players in the world.

Hazard failed to show his best form when it mattered the most for Chelsea as the Premier League leaders suffered a damaging 2-0 defeat against Manchester United on Sunday.

According to the Manchester Evening News , Neville had special praise for the way United midfielder Ander Herrera nullified the Chelsea star during the game and feels his outstanding performance was the key behind Jose Mourinho's game plan on the day.

Former United captain Neville named Herrera man of the match - but also believes Hazard made it ‘easy’ for the midfielder.

The United Legend claims that is why the Belgian international is still short of the game’s greats like Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.

“I’ve got loads of time for him - great player,” Neville told Monday Night Football. “I always think that maybe he needs to go that step further.

“Is he a bit timid to be what would be a really selfish, horrible best player in the world - Cristiano, Messi type that really has that drive and determination?

“I thought he accepted things too easily. He made it easy for Herrera far too often.

“He made it as comfortable as can be.
“In and out of possession, I thought he made it simple.”

The Sky Sports pundit said that the 26-year old Belgian should have been intelligent enough to drag Herrera out of position.

“Man marking is okay in central areas,” he added. “You cannot man mark a winger who plays wide.

“It is impossible because you can’t stand right next to him - you’ve got to give yourself a five yard gap.

“That’s the position he should have held and been patient. He showed a lack of maturity and a bit of naivety.

“He should have stayed in that position all game. He’d have got in.
“He almost thought: ‘This is really difficult, he’s man-marking me,’ and accepted it.

“Didn’t really go and do something different.

“If you think of Hazard there (wide), he can get into positions, he can wriggle, manipulate the ball, win free kicks and Herrera would’ve had a lot more difficult day. He lost his patience.

“Hazard fell short of his understanding of playing against a man-marker.

“You need to play high and wide or high and through the middle. Next time he might.”

JOHN TERRY SET TO QUIT CHELSEA AT THE END OF THE SEASON.

John Terry's 22-year love affair with Chelsea will come to an end this summer.

The Blues skipper has announced that he will leave Stamford Bridge, in a joint-statement with the London club.

"After 22 years there is so much to say and so many people to thank at this great football club," said Terry, in a statement.

"From coaches, team-mates and staff to the fans who have given me so much support down the years, I can’t thank you enough.

There will be opportunities for me to speak further about this over the coming weeks.

"I will decide on my future in due course, but for now I am committed to helping the team achieve success this season."

Terry, who has made 713 appearances for the club, has struggled for regular action under
Antonio Conte this season.

The former England skipper has made just five Premier League appearances, having not featured since the turn of the year.

As such, with the 36-year-old seemingly still keen on playing, he has elected to leave the league leaders this summer.

"The club and I have always had a fantastic relationship, which will continue beyond my playing days.

"We had some really positive talks but with everything taken into careful consideration I have decided it's the right time for me to leave.

I’ve always been conscious that I depart at the right time, in the right way, and I feel that the end of this season is the right time for the club and I.

"I feel I still have plenty to offer on the pitch but understand that opportunities here at Chelsea will be limited for me. I’m eager to carry on playing and so will be looking to continue with a new challenge.

I will of course always be a Blue and am desperate to end my final season as a Chelsea player with more silverware."

"Finally, words cannot describe the love I have for our football club and our amazing Chelsea fans. I would like to thank each and every one of you from the bottom of my heart for the unbelievable support you've shown me over the years.

You mean the world to me and every trophy we've won during my time at the club we've won together. I will never forget the incredible journey we've been on.
"Thank you so much for everything."
Terry has won a host of honours at Stamford Bridge, including four Premier League titles, five FA Cup crowns, three League Cups, the 2012
Champions League and 2013 Europa League.
He has also been named in the PFA Team of the Year on four occasions, and was PFA Players' Player of the Year in 2004-05. Indeed, he is the most decorated individual in the club's history.

"Everyone at Chelsea would like to place on record our thanks to John for all he has done for this football club," declared Chelsea director Marina Granovskaia.

"He has been an outstanding player, inspirational captain and has always demonstrated an exceptional commitment to the cause.

"In that time, Chelsea has grown into one of the world’s top clubs and it is only right that John’s contribution is recognised. He will always be held in the highest regard by everybody at Stamford Bridge and we look forward to welcoming him back in the future."

Terry has been linked with a move abroad to continue his career, with a number of MLS sides having ventured an interest in taking him Stateside.

West Brom boss Tony Pulis is also keen on taking the veteran to the Hawthorns, having seen a January move rejected.

“In January he wanted to stay with Chelsea,” said Pulis last month. “He wanted to stay there and be part of going out as a champion. I’m not sure how many times he’s won it with them but John wanted to stay there.

“If he becomes available in the summer, we’ll sit down and have a little think about what we’ve got and what we haven’t got and we’ll take it from there.

HAZARD ADMITS HE WANTS TO PLAY FOR OTHER CLUBS.

Eden Hazard has admitted that he has "ambitions" to play for one of Europe's elite.

The Chelsea winger says that he is not planning on moving in moving soon, but interest from the likes of Real Madrid and Paris Saint Germain does turn his head.

Hazard, 26, has been one of Chelsea's star men as they have risen to the top of the Premier League table.

He won the PFA Player of the Year award for the 2014/15 season but went off the boil as the Blues struggled under Jose Mourinho last season.

The Belgian international has since recaptured his form as he's one of the nominees for the PFA award this season.

Speaking to Telefoot, Hazard said: "When it's not PSG, it's Real Madrid, then maybe it's Bayern Munich... strangely last year there wasn't anybody.

“I may also have personal ambitions to play in other clubs.

“But I'm trying to focus on the present, end up in Chelsea this year. I have a contract until 2020.
“For now, I'm here and good here.”

DIEGO COSTA REVEALS WHY HE WANTED TO LEAVE CHELSEA LAST SUMMER.

Diego Costa admitted he wanted to quit Chelsea at the start of the season and was "angling for a move back to Atletico Madrid".

The Blues striker revealed he found the transition from La Liga to the Premier League more difficult than he had anticipated.

And after picking up bans - one relating to an incident involving Laurent Koscielny, the other for a stamp on Emre Can, another for a clash with Gareth Barry - the previous season, wanted out of Chelsea.

"Here [the Premier League] things happen on the pitch and who is banned for three matches? Me," said Costa, Speaking on Sky Sports.

"Who was banned for another three matches again? Me.

"So I'm here in London, not playing so I am at home really upset and that annoyed me every time and no matter how hard I tried I was still having problems.

"It's supposed to be the best league in the world but it doesn't make sense that if you touch someone or go in a bit hard you get banned for three matches.

"If those are the rules then I have to respect them. But all of this was making me want to leave the Premier League.

"At the beginning of the season I was angling for a move back to Atletico Madrid because I felt like I couldn't play the way I wanted to."

Costa has scored 17 Premier League goals this season for a dominant Chelsea side. Though the Brazil-born  Spanish international is still being linked with the Chinese League.

POGBA CLAIMS HE'S BETTER THAN KANTE WHO DOESN'T SCORE MANY GOALS.

Manchester United midfielder, Paul Pogba who has received criticism at times this season, particularly for his performances in big games has hit out that he's a more complete midfielder than compatriot - N'golo Kante.

Kante, who Chelsea signed from Leicester City for £30million at the start of the season, has been hailed from every area of the globe for his industry at the heart of Chelsea's midfield.

And while Pogba doesn't disagree his fellow countryman should receive praise, he suggested that he gets judged for more than Kante.

"He doesn't score many goals, does he? But we don't speak about this, we speak about what he does on the pitch," said Pogba.

"He gets the ball, he passes the ball, he makes the game and defends and everything, and I try to do this.

"I do this in my team, in my club, I score more goals than Kante, but they still say like 'Kante does this and that,' but I score more goals.

"If you want to speak about scoring goals, then you should judge every midfielder the same way then.

"But they only speak about the transfer, the money. The transfer is done so we shouldn't talk about this anymore."

The French midfielders will go head to head in the Premier League from 4pm on Sunday when they meet at Old Trafford.

Chelsea will be determined to extend their lead over Spurs, who won convincingly yesterday, to seven points.

While the Red Devils will be looking to leapfrog Everton, who have played three more games than them, in fifth.

EVERTON v BURNLEY

STATS: Burnley have not lost any of their last ten league away games by more than one goal.
Since the turn of the year, Romelu Lukaku (13 goals from 42 shots) has scored more Premier League goals than Burnley (11 goals from 146 shots).

ANALYSIS: Everton put Leicester to the sword at Goodison Park on Sunday and should justify short odds against a Burnley side with a poor away record.

However, the Clarets rarely lose by more than one goal on the road and could keep this one pretty right.

PREDICTION: EVERTON are favourites to WIN this tie.
But they bet against Burnley nicking a DRAW.

DATE: 15/4/2017.

KICKOFF: 3:00PM.

VENUE: GOODISON PARK.
STOKE CITY v HULL CITY.

STATS: Stoke have scored from open play in just two of their last seven matches

ANALYSIS: Hull’s home improvement under Marco Silva hasn’t been matched by their road form, but this is the first realistically winnable away fixture of Silva’s tenure after a difficult set of fixtures.

The Tigers have taken one point in 14 away games but could get another against a Stoke side whose form has been less impressive in recent weeks; of course, they are safe and are not in the running for European places.

PREDICTION: HULL could either WIN or DRAW this game.

SUNDERLAND v WEST HAM.

STATS: West Ham’s away games have averaged 3.4 goals this season.

Jermain Defoe has scored six goals in 15 Premier League matches v West Ham, but has yet to score against his old club in three outings for Sunderland.

ANALYSIS: Sunderland are facing the prospect of relegation and are no certainties to get anything when they host West Ham.

The Hammers haven’t been in great form either and goals could be on the cards between two teams who have struggled at the back in recent weeks.

PREDICTION: Both teams to score

EPL WK 33: TOTTENHAM v BOURNEMOUTH... PREVIEW/PREDICTION.

STATS: Tottenham have won their last 11 home Premier League matches; and are unbeaten in 15 successive home Premier League matches, (W13 D2), their best run since a streak of 17 in May 2011.

ANALYSIS: Tottenham’s home form is exceptional – they remain unbeaten at White Hart Lane this term, winning 14 of 16 league outings.

Bournemouth have secured recent draws at Manchester United, Southampton and Liverpool, so expect them to offer stubborn resistance but Spurs, with their talismanic striker Harry Kane fully fit now, are a good bet to land a routine success.

More than three goals are certainly in this game.

PREDICTION: TOTTENHAM WIN.

EPL WK 32 : MIDDLESBROUGH v BURNLEY... PREVIEW/PREDICTION.

STAT: Burnley have picked up just three away points this term. But the Clarets are searching for a first Premier League double over Boro, having not beaten them home and away in one season since 1953/54.

ANALYSIS: Middlesbrough are in desperate need of three points and the visit of Burnley should please caretaker boss Steve Agnew.

Boro’s problem is scoring goals but their Lancashire rivals are yet to win on their travels this season and this may be the easiest task they have faced in recent weeks.

But Burnley shouldn't be written off here entirely, because one of the 3 away points they got this season was at Old Trafford.

PREDICTION: MIDDLESBROUGH WIN.
Though a DOUBLE CHANCE is safer.

DIEGO COSTA WILL NOT FACE ANY FA ACTION.

Bad boy striker Costa was pictured kicking out at Kompany during Chelsea's win over City at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday night.

But Mirror Sport understands referee Mike Dean saw the incident and did not deem it a serious red card offence anyway.

Therefore, it cannot be referred to the FA for potential retrospective action and that will be a huge relief for Chelsea.

Costa has cleaned up his act this season and his lash out in the 70th minute was largely out of keeping with his improved discipline on the pitch.

Chelsea boss Antonio Conte admitted after the game he did not see the incident fully but will be happy there will be no further action.

Conte said: “During the game it's very difficult... Yes, you see this kind of contact but it's impossible to tell... to judge this kind of contact.

“Against Crystal Palace I told you I didn't see a clear handball and penalty for us, and also a red card, because it's very difficult to see these type of situations during the game''.

EPL WK 32 : MAN CITY v HULL CITY... PREVIEW/PREDICTION

STATS: Man City have scored 12 times against Hull in four meetings.

Aguero has scored 25 goals in his last 30 league appearances at the Etihad Stadium.

ANALYSIS: Man City were twice pegged back at Arsenal on Sunday and lost at leaders Chelsea in midweek but should bounce back to winning ways against visiting Hull. The Tigers, in fine fettle at the KCOM under Marco Silva, have struggled on their travels, losing 12 of 15 away games and another road defeat is on the cards.

PREDICTION: MANCHESTER CITY WIN.

EPL WK 32 : WEST BROM v SOUTHAMPTON... PREVIEW/PREDICTION

STAT: Seven of the last 15 meetings have been draws.
Saints are looking to avoid losing both matches in a Premier League season against the Baggies for only the second time since 2012/2013.

ANALYSIS: West Brom have a solid home record and Tony Pulis has made them a difficult side to break down.
The Baggies have lost just four times at the Hawthorns this term and should achieve a top ten finish. Both sides played out a draw at the weekend and that may be the best Southampton can hope for despite their midweek home win over Crystal Palace.

PREDICTION: DRAW.

KICKOFF: 3:00PM.

VENUE: THE HAWTHORNS.
