DE GEA PUTS HIS HOUSE UP FOR SALE AS MOVE TO MADRID GATHERS PACE.

Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea has reportedly put his mansion up for sale.

The Sun say Spain No 1 De Gea's mansion in Bowdon, Trafford, has been slapped on the market with a £3.85million asking price.

The estate agent with which the property is listed says the five-bedroom home is in a "highly sought after residential location", says the Manchester Evening News.

Buyers without the funds to purchase the house outright face paying a £385,000 deposit to secure the property before paying £18,000-a-month in mortgage repayments over 25 years.

There’s an outdoor swimming pool, a gym and a tennis court and the property comes with electric security gates.

The property, according to the blurb, boasts three reception rooms plus a ‘stunning’ open-plan family dining kitchen.

It includes a self-contained two-bedroom apartment above and a cinema room - ‘ideal for a growing family’.

De Gea, 26, was signed by United from Atletico Madrid in 2011 for £17.8m but again has been linked with a move back to Spain with Real Madrid over recent months.

According to reports emerging in Spain, Real Madrid are preparing to table a massive summer bid of £60m to land the PFA Goalkeeper of the year.

De Gea is under contract at United until 2019 with the option of an additional year.
