POLICE CHASED VALENCIA OUT OF THE STADIUM DURING ECUADOR'S MATCH FOR UNPAID CHILD SUPPORT.

During Ecuador's match versus Chile on Thursday, which Ecuador won by 3-0, Police chased Everton Loanee Erner Valencia out of the Stadium.

The Striker on loan from West Ham was in his homeland for the World Cup qualifier when he was met by Police and lawyers following a training session on Wednesday.

Valencia was faced by authorities holding a Judicial order with lawyers representing the mother of his five-year old daughter seeking an alleged £13,350 in maintenance.

Valencia was greeted at the Atahualpa Stadium in Quito on Wednesday, where ECUADOR were training ahead of their World Cup qualifier against Chile.

However, the lawyers  failed to have him detained.
Paul Marin, a lawyer for the mother of Valencia's child said, "it is lamentable that certain Police officers didn't collaborate with the detention of the footballer Erner Valencia, to ensure compliance with a Judicial order.

"If they say this man earns so much, why does he not pay the support monthly to his daughter.

"However, Judicial Officials were again waiting pitch-side during the match in Quito as Ecuador cruised to a deserved victory.

But Valencia pulled up late on, seemingly injured, and was taken off on a Stretcher before being pulled onto a golf cart.

As the cart made its way around the running track, officials appeared to give chase as Valencia was driven into an ambulance ready to take him out of the Stadium, apparently on his way to the hospital.

Valencia's  attempt to flee may have been in vain however as his lawyer Juan Carlos Carmigniani agreed a deal to avoid the Cart order for the time being.
