A bird cracked the cockpit windshield of the plane and the aircraft pilot was forced to steer the plane to safety in Budapest Airport, Hungary.
The aeroplane was carrying Fenerbahce's players to Manchester for their Europa League clash with the Red devils before the incident which happened shortly after take off halted the trip.
It is believed that everyone one board is safe and sound.
A tweet on Fenerbahce's Twitter account said: "There is nothing alarming."
Fenerbahce are top of Group A with 4 points, one point better than their Thursday's opponent's Manchester United who are second in the group.
