But it turns out not even his questionable weightlifting ability is enough to turn Bruna Marquezine's head, well when she's on her phone that is.

In the humorous clip, as reported by the Mirror, the Barca star exercises in his pants, lifting heavy dumbbells into the air like the ultimate alpha male.

His on-hand cameraman captures his progression but is then distracted by the sight of Neymar's girlfriend, who is meant to showing an interest.

Instead she has absolutely no idea what the talented Brazilian is up to as her head is buried in her mobile phone.

The camera stays on her for a few seconds, hoping she'll look up and take note of Neymar's work-out, but alas, she doesn't.


The Barcelona forward has the final say though, as he faces up to the camera once again and stares down the lens with a slight smirk on his face.

He then gestures to it, as if to say, 'can you believe that!?'
Brilliant.

Meanwhile, Neymar who will miss the second leg of the Copa Del Rey semifinals at home to Atletico Madrid tonight has conceded his frustration at a lack of goals this season having seen his figures drop significantly.

He has scored just nine times in all competitions after racking up 31 and 39 in his previous two seasons in Spain.

'It's difficult when you're not scoring, especially when you're a forward, where the expectations are higher,' Neymar said.

'So, yes, it's bad, it's annoying, but it's not my biggest worry. I concentrate on winning matches; it doesn't matter if it's me or a team-mate that scores.'
