THE REFEREE WANTED TO SEND ME OFF; CLAIMS SUAREZ.

Luis Suarez claimed referee Jesus Gil "wanted" to send him off after he was dismissed in
Barcelona's Copa del Rey semi-final second leg against Atletico Madrid.

Suarez's scored the opener in the 1-1 draw which saw Barca through to the final 3-2 on aggregate - but became the third player to be sent off for a second yellow as his side were reduced to nine men in the 90th minute.

Barca's Sergio Roberto, and Atletico's Yannick Carassco were also sent off for two bookable offences respectively; in a game full of drama. Also, Antoine Griezman's goal was wrongly disallowed for offside, while Kevin Gameiro missed a penalty.

Suarez was clearly unhappy with the referee after the game.
"I was laughing at the yellow card, it was what he wanted (the referee), we will see if the club can appeal," he said. "It wasn't even a foul."

In the end, Barca, who won the first leg 2-1 in Madrid, went through to their fourth successive Copa del Rey final - where they will play the winner of Alaves verse Celta Vigo game.

Enrique says Barca should appeal Suarez's second yellow but he is not hopeful of success.
"I'm in agreement with appealing, but if you look at the past you will see what good appeals have been for us," he said.
