RONALDO DRESSED IN A BIZZARE FASHION TO PICK UP HIS SON FROM SCHOOL.

Most of sport's mega stars could be forgiven for wanting to detract attention from themselves. Not if you are Cristiano Ronaldo.

The eccentric Real Madrid winger ensured that everyone was looking right at him when he picked his son up from school on Wednesday afternoon as reported by The Mirror.

Except in this instance, the general public might not have even realised they were in the
presence of one of the world's greatest footballers.

That's because Ronaldo donned an eye-catching fancy dress outfit alongside his pals.
Ronaldo, who turned 32 earlier this week, collected his son, Cristiano Jr, from a fancy dress day at school and appeared to get in on the act.

Surrounded by his body guards, Ronaldo threw a cape around his back and pulled a white mask over his face, complete with black and white wig.

He even got his friends involved, as they too were seen wearing capes and masks as they walked from the school back to the car park.

Ronaldo was able to spend some quality family time with his son and mother at the weekend as they celebrated his birthday.

Real Madrid's trip to Celta Vigo was postponed on Sunday Following a storm, meaning the Portuguese was able to head home and have an impromptu celebration.

And he hit the headlines in Madrid earlier this week for a heartwarming reason, as the charitable star helped save 80 dogs at a kennel.

Ronaldo sent a signed shirt to Cantinho da Lili, in his homeland Portugal, to be auctioned off.

Expensive treatments, almost $2000 each, along with costly cleaning and maintenance had left the canines facing an uncertain future.

But Ronaldo stepped in after hearing about the centre’s plight when a volunteer contacted his family.

Liliana Santos, 34, who owns the Gouveia based shelter, told Portuguese paper Correrio de Mahna: “We still do not believe it.
“I want to thank Ronaldo from the bottom of my heart. It’s a simple gesture, but very important.”

It is not the first heart-felt gesture from the former Manchester United winger.
Ronaldo donated £5millon to the Nepal earthquake relief effort in 2015, which tragically killed 8,000 people.

He also paid £53,000 for a 10-year-old baby to have an operation and footed the bill for a nine-year-old cancer sufferer's medical treatment.

Ronaldo donated £105,000 to fund a research centre at the hospital which treated his mother for cancer and was named as the world's most charitable athlete by dosomething.org in 2015.

In 2013, he said: "My father always taught me that when you help other people, then God will give you double.

"And that's what has really happened to me. When I have helped other people who are in
need, God has helped me more.”
