CHELSEA TO RAID EVERTON OF STAR PLAYERS.

Chelsea are reportedly considering a shock £100million swoop for Everton's Romelu Lukaku and Ross Barkley.

Everton are already facing a battle to keep Belgium international striker Lukaku after he told the club on Tuesday that he will not sign a new deal.

And boss Ronald Koeman could also be in danger of losing midfielder Barkley, who will only have 12 months left on his contract at the end of the season.

Chelsea have a long-standing interest in the England international, who could also leave Goodison this summer unless his contract is resolved.

Chelsea are also among the admirers for Lukaku, with Manchester United, Spain's Real Madrid and Juventus of Italy also monitoring the Striker's situation.

Any deal is likely to cost in excess of the £65m that Everton were asking last summer, when Chelsea were desperate to bring in a new centre-forward.

That sort of figure would be unlikely to deter the West Londoners, who are also watching developments closely on Barkley.

Tottenham are big admirers of the 23-year-old, who has rediscovered his best form in recent weeks and is certain to be a transfer target this summer because of his own contract situation.

Chelsea are ready for a shake-up of their squad ahead of a return to the Champions League stage.
Costa was a mega-money target of Chinese Super League sides in January.
