HOW JOHN TERRY'S INSTAGRAM PICTURES AIDED CRIMINALS INTO HIS HOME.

Burglars have raided former England skipper John Terry’s luxury mansion while he was on a family ski holiday, it has been reported.

The gang may have struck after seeing holiday snaps posted by the ex-England skipper on his Instagram account, it is feared.

John, 36, and wife Toni, 35, are said to be “very shaken” after raiders plundered thousands of pounds worth of personal items including jewellery from the couple’s £5 million Surrey home.

Instagram pictures they both posted on the slopes indicated they were on holiday — and friends fear that them more vulnerable to a break-in.

The raiders are believed to have struck last Saturday after sneaking past security at the gated estate, The Sun reported.

Detectives investigating the break-in are trying to establish if Terry’s home was specifically picked.

A source said: “It’s a very real possibility that these burglars have seen some of their posts.

“It’s like a catalogue for would-be thieves, and even played a part when Kim Kardashian was robbed in Paris.”

The Terrys have reportedly now upgraded their security systems with extra patrols.

The £5million mock Georgian property has been home to the veteran defender’s family for three years.

It previously belonged to golf star Colin Montgomerie.

The break-in, according to The Mirror, forced John to pull out of The London Football Awards on Thursday night, where he was expected to present a prize to his pal and former teammate Frank Lampard.
