It has been all Ronaldo since the past twelve months; and rightly so.
The Portuguese Superstar won the Champions League with Real Madrid, and the European Championship with Portugal. He was also crowned the World's best footballer in the same year, among other accolades.
However, after Messi starred in Barca's 4-2 win against Valencia at Camp Nou over the weekend, where he scored a brace, the Argentinian
notched up another ludicrous record - getting one over his Real Madrid rival in the process.
It is obvious that both Ronaldo and Messi are phenomenally gifted.
We know they see-saw between one another as to who is the best in the world/in history almost on a weekly basis.
But now we know that Lionel Messi isn't human.
It was his 100th (yes, 100th!) brace for the Catalunya Club, which means he is now the ONLY La Liga player to reach 40 goals in each of the last eight seasons in all competitions.
Since the start of the 2009/10 season, Messi has scored a frankly ridiculous 410 goals for Barcelona, compared to Ronaldo's 390 for Real Madrid.
Ridiculous! Isn't it?
