RONALDO SAYS HE WILL NOT EXTEND HIS REAL MADRID CONTRACT.

Cristiano Ronaldo has insisted he will not sign a new deal at Real Madrid.
The Portuguese superstar is contracted to the Spanish giants until 2021, and he has ruled out extending his stay at the Bernabeu.

After Real Madrid lost 3-1 in the Champions League at Wembley on Wednesday, the FIFA player of the year told beIN Sports.
"I am doing very well at Real Madrid.
Ronaldo who scored an 80th minute consolation goal added:
“I have four years left on my contract and I don't want to renew. I am fine."

Los blancos also lost to Girona in La Liga last weekend to make it two losses in as many games in La Liga this season; having drawn twice already.
But Ronaldo is optimistic that the European champions will return to form.  "It is bad because we are losing and we are used to winning. It is a bad run," he said.

"It is not how we would want things, but football changes. It is a bad run but we want to change and I am sure we will change.

"We have a lot of time still to get better and I am convinced we can do so."

Ronaldo added that the exodus of some experienced campaigners from the Bernabue last summer has equally impacted on their season.
"The players who have arrived have a lot of potential but Pepe, Morata, James, made us stronger, but those who are here today are younger," the Portuguese said after Real lost 3-1 to Spurs in the Champions League.

"We also need Carvajal and Bale back from injury to make the squad stronger.
"It's not a worse template, but they're less experienced and that's very important, but it's not an excuse.
"I'm happy and the alarms can not go off."
