According to the mirror, the NAPA Rovers player scored an epic bicycle kick, ran over to the stand where his girlfriend was sitting, took off his football shirt and revealed a t-shirt which said "Marry Me".
NAPA Rovers ply their trade in Guama's top tier - the Budweiser Soccer League Premier Division.
Guama is just north of Papa New Guinea and west of Philippines.
Anyway, while Surber made the epic gesture he was promptly booked by the referee for removing his shirt.
Oblivious to the match official's punishment, Surber then gets down on one knee and awaits his girlfriend's decision.
And judging by his reaction she gave him a big thumbs up.
To make things better NAPA Rovers went on to win the game 5-1.
