EXPECT MORE FROM ME... POGBA DECLARED AFTER HIS WONDER STRIKE.

Manchester United star Paul Pogba insists there's more to come after his 30-yard volley helped France to 1-0 victory against Holland in Amsterdam.

Pogba's place in Didier Deschamps team came under scrutiny following his poor display against Bulgaria last week.

The £89m star lined up alongside Blaise Matuidi. He played remarkably well and in the process took his international goal to seventh.“I play for the France team. If the France team has a good match, I have a good match, and if the France team has a bad match, I have a bad match, Pogba told France TV.

"It is not always nice to hear criticism but I am lucky to play for my country so I give 100% "I am someone who tries things, I look to create. I am still learning – I am only 23 years old. Our aim is to go to the World Cup.

"The coach gave me instructions and I try to adapt. I have to be more subdued.”

But West Ham's Dimitri Payet said: “He was like normal in the dressing room afterwards – happy – and, in addition, he scored. It is good for him.

"There is a lot of expectation around him – it doesn't help him. He has been attacked a lot but he has stayed strong calm and he played like a great.”
And Spurs Keeper and Skipper Hugo Lloris added: “He's a warrior in his mind, that's the most important thing.

"Of course he's very talented but in football talent is not enough, and in his mind he's very strong, and very ambitious, so he's going to improve step by step and he will arrive at the level that he wants.

"Especially after his transfer record, there is a lot of expectation around him. But I think today he showed the perfect response.

"He helped the team to get the three points, he was decisive today and maybe he will give us confidence for the next few games."
