BELLERIN EXTENDS ARSENAL CONTRACT TO END BARCELONA SPECULATION.

Hector Bellerin has agreed a new long term contract at Arsenal. It is a huge boost for Arsenal as they have managed to fend off interests from Barcelona and Manchester City to hold on to one of their prized assets.

Bellerin's agent Albert Botines said: "We are speaking and are now a lot closer than we were two weeks ago. In a normal situation he will sign.
"Hector is very happy at Arsenal.

This would be the fourth time he has signed a new contract at the club and it is clear he has made good progress."

The pacy right back - Bellerin signed a six-year deal worth in excess of £100,000 - a week, which will net him more than £30m with bonuses and add-ons.

Reports also have it that the Gunners have advanced in their negotiations for new deals with Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez whose contracts have two years to run out.
