HAZARD STEPS UP HIS RECOVERY BY SCORING IN A FRIENDLY.

Eden Hazard stepped up his return from injury by scoring in a secret friendly organised by Chelsea against a Queens Park Rangers development side at the Cobham training ground.

Hazard has been out since June with an ankle injury, but his return would boost Antonio Conte's side after a rocky start to the season in the 3-2 defeat to Burnley.

The Belgian may not be part of Sunday's London derby against Tottenham in Wembley, but could play some part in the home fixture against Everton on August 27.

Tiemoue Bakayoko, signed for £40m from Monaco this summer, is also close a first team return and grabbed a goal.

Charly Musonda grabbed a double and looks set to feature from the start against Spurs if Pedro fails to recover from injury.

The Belgian youngster will compete with Jeremie Boga to play alongside Willian behind Alvaro Morata or Michy Batshuayi.
