35' GOAL!!! ROONEY SCORES HIS 200th PREMIER LEAGUE GOAL.
The ex-Manchester United striker deliciously finishes a tidy move, following some skillful play from Calvert-Lewin in the area, for his 200th Premier League goal and his second of the season so far.

HALF TIME:
Wayne Rooney's 200th Premier League goal has Everton leading at the Etihad through 45 minutes, and it will prove to be an uphill battle for City in the second half after Kyle Walker was SENT OFF after seeing two yellow cards in quick succession. Sergio Aguero twice came close to scoring for the Citizens, while David Silva also hit the woodwork, but it is Everton who have the lead at the break.

82' GOAL!!!!  STERLING!!!
It's a deserved goal for Sterling, who has been excellent since coming on for the second half! Danilo's cross is met by Holgate, but he places his header right into the path of Sterling who lashes a venomous volley into the bottom corner! No chance for Everton who concede for the first time this season!

FULL TIME:
It has ended at the Etihad as City rallied in the second half to equalise Rooney's 35th minute strike.
Kyle Walker's sending off in the 43rd minute didn't help City's course.
However, Pep Guardiola showed his nous with the introduction of Raheem Sterling in the second half. And the winger added pace to City's attack. The England forward duely rewarded his manager with a brilliant strike in the 82nd minute to make it a nervy end to the game.
Morgan Schneiderlin was however sent off at the closing stages for a second bookable offence, but the Toffees held on to secure an important point at the Etihad.
