POGBA WINS EUROPA LEAGUE'S BEST PLAYER AWARD; THE FIRST OF ITS KIND.

Manchester United star Paul Pogba has won Europa League's Best Player award following the Red Devils' triumph last season.

The Frenchman featured in all 15 games in the competition, scoring three goals including the opening goal in the final, as Jose Mourinho's men won the trophy for the first time in the Club's illustrious history.

After finishing second in their group behind Fenerbahce, United went on to beat St-Etienne, Rostov, Anderlecht and Celta Vigo, before beating Ajax 2-0 in the final.

Upon receiving the award, Pogba said: "To be the first one to win the best player, hopefully this season will be as good as last season.
"Thank you so much."

Recall that United also won the league Cup as well as the community shield in what eventually turned out a successful season, despite finishing sixth in the Premier League.
