24' GOAL!!!

82' OWN-GOAL!
SPURS GET THEIR EQUALISER! It has been coming, but Tottenham are finally level. Bakayoko's foul comes back to haunt Chelsea as Eriksen lifts the free-kick in a dangerous area. Batshuayi has to head the ball otherwise Alderweireld will behind him. Unfortunately for the forward he can only divert the ball into his own net. A nightmare for Batshuayi and the Blues, but Tottenham get their reward for their perseverance.

88' GOALLLLLLLLL!!!!! ALONSO NOTCHES HIS SECOND!!!!! DRAMA! Alonso surely win the game for Chelsea as Spurs switch off at the back allowing the defender to raid forward into acres of space. He drills his effort straight at Lloris, but he keeper allows the strike to go under his body and into the net. A shocking error from the Frenchman, which could cost his side deeply here.

FULL TIME REPORT:
After a week of criticism Chelsea respond in the perfect fashion with a 2-1 victory against Tottenham this afternoon. A brace from Marcos Alonso has handed the Blues a vital victory to get them off the mark this season. Spurs did all the pressing, but couldn't find a way through Chelsea themselves, needing an own goal from Michy Batshuayi to equalise. However, they spurned their fortune as Hugo Lloris committed an awful error to allow Alonso to score the decsive goal.
