ARSENAL HAVE TO BEAT CHELSEA AT THE BRIDGE; SAYS HENRY.
Thierry Henry wants to see Arsenal take a leaf out of Chelsea's book by showing the world they mean business.
Chelsea kick-started their title defence with a shock 3-2 defeat at the hands of Burnley on the opening day of the season.
And Antonio Conte, who missed out on first-choice striker Romelu Lukaku in the summer as well as Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, was immediately feeling the pressure.
But the Stamford Bridge outfit showed the world there was little to worry about the very next week by beating bitter rivals Tottenham 2-1 at Wembley.
They then went on to beat Everton 2-0, Leicester City 2-1, and Qarabag 6-0.
The Gunners on the other hand started their campaign with a 4-3 win over the Foxes, but the result was anything but convincing.
They were then beaten 1-0 by Stoke City and thumped 4-0 by Liverpool, before winning back to back games against Bournemouth and Cologne.
But Henry wants to see Arsenal emulate what Chelsea did against Tottenham, and win against a big side to put down a marker.
"They [Arsenal] have had their fair share of negativity, too," Henry wrote in The Sun.
"The equivalent to Chelsea's home defeat to Burnley was Arsenal's 4-0 thumping at Anfield. The ideal response would be victory at the Bridge.
"And I say that with all due respect to Bournemouth - who Arsenal beat last weekend.
"That is not where they should be proving themselves. To show they mean business they need to go and win at places like Chelsea."
