Manchester United star Victor Lindelof's fiancee Maja Nilsson has blasted the “disgusting” cost of executive boxes at Old Trafford.
Jose Mourinho's players can hire the luxury suites for their family and friends at home games with prices ranging from £24,000 to £81,600.
The Swedish centre-back joined the Red Devils for £31m this summer and earns £120,000 per week, but his partner is not happy about the perceived obligation.
“Players have the option to rent a box," Nilsson said on her podcast, called Livet På Läktaren (Life in the Stands).
"I'm not even going to tell you for how much, but a disgusting amount.
“If you don’t buy one you’re considered a loser.
"But having a box is wonderful. You get your own waiter."
Lindelof played the full 90 minutes on Wednesday night as United swept aside Burton Albion.
