STEVEN GARRARD HAS PRAISED RASHFORD'S INCREDIBLE TALENT, BUT REGRETS HE SHOULDN'T BE PLAYING FOR UNITED.

Marcus Rashford a second half substitute found the back of the net in the Red Devils' 3-0 win over Basel in their opening Champions League group stage game of the season on Tuesday, just seven minutes after replacing Juan Mata.

And as you would expect, he was the subject of much praise from Gerrard, Rio Ferdinand and Frank Lampard, who analysed the game for BT Sports alongside Gary Lineker.

Speaking about the forward, Gerrard showed that the age long rivalry between his former team Liverpool and Rashford's Manchester United is not yet lost in him: "I think he's very good, he has a huge future ahead of him, it's great that he's English; Gerrard said.

"Not so good he's a Manchester United player from my point of view. He's got pace, he's got everything to his game, he scores all kinds of goals."
