ROONEY BANNED FROM DRIVING FOR TWO YEARS.
Wayne Rooney has been banned from driving for two years and ordered to perform 100 hours of unpaid work as part of a 12-month community order at Stockport Magistrates' Court after pleading guilty to drink driving.
The Everton striker and former England captain was stopped by police when driving a woman's black Volkswagen Beetle in Wilmslow, Cheshire, at 2am on September 1, reports the Liverpool Echo.
Rooney, 31, was later arrested and bailed and on Monday he entered his guilty plea at Stockport Magistrates' Court.
He said: "Following today's court hearing I want publicly to apologise for my unforgivable lack of judgement in driving while over the legal limit. It was completely wrong.
"I have already said sorry to my family, my manager and chairman and everyone at Everton FC. Now I want to apologise to all the fans and everyone else who has followed and supported me throughout my career.
"Of course I accept the sentence of the court and hope that I can make some amends through my community service."
Here are Rooney's three cars that he will not be riding as his ban starts.
On the day that Rooney returned to Everton he arrived at Goodison Park driving his BMW i8 for his press conference.
He was mobbed by fans outside the ground as he entered the stadium on his return.
The BMW i8 would cost you over £100,000 to buy and boasts a maximum speed of 155mph.
It goes from 0-6-mph in 4.4 seconds.
Audi Q7
Rooney hasn't been spotted driving this car around Merseyside, but it was the car he would often use during his time at Manchester United.
The 31-year-old was often seen arriving and leaving Carrington in the Audi during his last season at Old Trafford.
An Audi Q7 would set you back around £50,000 and has a top speed of 144mph.
The car is able to go from 0-62mpg in around 7.3 seconds.
Range Rover modified by Overfinch
This is the car Rooney has been pictured in most recently when arriving at Finch Farm.
The Range Rover, which has been customised to Rooney's own specifications, was the last car he drove before pleading guilty to the charges.
Because Rooney has had this car modified it would cost more than a normal Range Rover - but you would be paying over £200,000.
The average speed of the car is between 128-161mph.
It goes from 0-60mph in eight seconds.
