WHY I QUIT THE NATIONAL TEAM... MESSI

Lionel Messi quit the Argentinian National team when they lost against Chile in the final of Copa America. The Argentinian Captain was so disappointed to loose again in the final. He lost the final of the previous tournament and also the World Cup finals in Brazil. Hence he felt his time was up with the National team.
''It was just what I felt in that moment, Messi said. ''Everything was falling around me. ''I had felt like that was going to be our time because of the way the team was playing and how we got to the final.
''It was a huge disappointment ''
The skipper has though changed his mind. He has returned with a stunning winning goal against Uruguay in a World Cup qualifier on Thursday.
