"WHEN I COME BACK, THE WORLD WILL KNOW"; ZLATAN DECLARES.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic says "the world will know" when he makes his long-awaited comeback for Manchester United.

Ibrahimovic is recovering from a cruciate knee ligament injury last April, which brought a premature end to his debut season at United.

But the 35-year-old striker, who has signed a new one-year deal with United, said the world will stand up and take notice when he makes his return.

"The knee is almost there," said Ibrahimovic. "I want everybody to have patience, and when I come back, the world will know."

Ibrahimovic, speaking in his native Sweden at a promotional event for Volvo, has been included in United's 25-man Champions League squad.

The forward could make his return to action in United's final Champions League group game, at home to CSKA Moscow on December 5.

Ibrahimovic said he had persuaded his team-mates to drive Volvo cars and joked he would even be able to make United boss Jose Mourinho switch to the Swedish brand.

"Everybody drives Volvo," said Ibrahimovic. "I even forced my team-mates to buy Volvo now. They know what Volvo is now.

"Now, with the No.10 [shirt], you'll see a difference. I'll even make Mourinho drive a Volvo!"
