MAN CITY'S SERGIO AGUERO SLAPPED DUE TO MISONDUCT

Manchester City striker, Sergio Kun Aguero has been slapped with a 3-match ban.
The Argentinian during a premier league match against West Ham on Sunday, struck his elbow on Winston Reid's throat. Refree, Andre Marriner did not see the incident at the time.
This made the FA to take retrospective action after studying the video footage.

Aguero was consequently charged. But he chose to contest the charge. An independent three-man regulatory panel upheld the charge after looking at written submissions and video evidence.
An FA statement read: 'Sergio Aguero will serve a three-match suspension with immediate effect, after an FA charge of violent conduct against him was found proven.' The Manchester City forward was involved in 76 minute incident with West Ham United's Winston Reid on Sunday (28/08/2016) which was not seen by match Officials but caught on video.
The club denied the charge and submitted further that  it was to be found proven, the standard punishment would be clearly excessive.
'On finding the charge proben at a hearing today (Friday 2 September 2016) an Independent  Regulatory Commission went on to reject the Club's further claim to decrease the three-match ban'.
With this, Aguero is set to miss Premier league matches against Man Utd and Bournemouth. He will also miss EFL fixture versus Swansea.
