ARSENAL OFF TO AUSTRALIA FOR PRE-SEASON TRAINING.

Arsenal have jetted out on their pre-season tour of Australia and China.

The Gunners were in good spirits as they flew out of Stansted Airport on Sunday evening.

The players posed for pictures on the steps of their Boeing-777 aircraft before snapping selfies as they settled in for the long-haul flight.

It is confirmed there is no place for Kieran Gibbs, Carl Jenkinson and Mathieu Debuchy in the travelling squad, which signals their likely departures.

Wojciech Szczesny who was on loan at Roma last season is still an Arsenal player but seem to be in negotiations with Juventus for the coming season.

As expected, Jack Wilshere and Gabriel have stayed behind as they are currently recovering from injury.

Alexis Sanchez has been given extra time off after the Confederations Cup alongside German defender Shkodran Mustafi.

Rob Holding, Calum Chambers and Hector Bellerin have also been given an extra break after the Euro Under-21 Championships.

Lucas Perez is also staying behind as negotiations continue with Deportivo La Coruna.
