PSG are hoping to quickly crack the former Santos man's release clause before agreeing personal terms - with Barca admitting they are powerless to stop him from leaving.
And the French side's chief Nasser Al-Khelaifi has revealed ongoing talks are progressing well with the move seemingly on the horizon.
Al-Khelaifi told other bosses at the club according to Yahoo Sport France: "Negotiations for Neymar are going well. I'm very confident."
Reports in Qatar suggest Neymar will undergo his medical in the country's capital of Doha.
