HOW LUKAKU AND POGBA BECAME BEST OF FRIENDS.

The bromance between Romelu Lukaku and Paul Pogba will continue at Manchester United next season.

Lukaku was officially confirmed a United player on Sunday, arriving in a £75million deal from Everton.

The switch will see the Belgian striker link up with close pal Pogba , with the pair recently enjoying a holiday together in the States.

The pair recently spoke with ESPN about their relationship and provided an insight into why they are such good friends.

HOW THEIR FRIENDSHIP BEGAN;
Lukaku revealed he knew about Pogba when he was 15 - although Pogba was aware of his new teammate earlier.

The Belgian striker admits he checked out the midfielder on YouTube after being told about him by his dad.

They finally met at Stamford Bridge when Chelsea played Manchester United and the bromance began.

"We were both in the stands and after the game we started speaking and exchanged numbers. We both knew the next year would be our year," Lukaku said.
Pogba added: "We kept in touch and he became one of my best friends outside the pitch."

THEY KNEW THEY WOULD PLAY TOGETHER SOMEDAY;
Both players claim they knew they would eventually link up on the pitch.

"We knew it would happen one day. I didn't know when and where but now it is happening," Pogba said.

Lukaku adds: "I always said, when we were younger, there would be a day that we play together and compete for trophies.
"Now the moment has arrived. It is nice to play with one of your best friends."

WHAT THEY COULD TAKE FROM EACH OTHER'S GAME;
Pogba reveals he would love to have Lukaku's power while the striker wishes he had his pals artistry and vision.

But the big revelation is the Belgian's ability to eat burgers!
He claims he could eat two Big Macs when he was just two years old.

"No lie, I was a big boy! When I was like six months, I was the size of an 18 month old child." he admits.

ROWS OVER BASKETBALL
AND FALLOUTS;
Pogba said: "We played with teammates, not 1vs1. When we played 1vs1...

"You beat me - but basketball is a team sport. I don't like to lose but I cannot always win," Lukaku adds.

The pair go on to admit they have refused to shake each other's hands due to the game!

MAKING MUSIC;
Away from the field, the duo have been making music.
“He [Pogba] raps," says Lukaku. "He’s got boss. (I like) Hip hop. I like, sometimes, because I will pick the beats, he knows I DJ my house, so I’ll pick the beat, and then he spits.”
“He picks the beats. I pick the lyrics," adds Pogba.

"Sometimes we are just at the house for two hours straight, just for fun," Lukaku said.

"It stays just between us. We don't tell people and put it out there. When we are at home, we like to relax as much as we can."

RETIREMENT PLANS;
"He would be the coach, I would be the assistant," Pogba said.

"He is very good at analysing things. When I was playing last year, he would come to my house and tell me 'No Paul, you should have done this...'.
