INTER MILAN SACK COACH, TWO MONTHS AFTER HIS APPOINTMENT.

Italian giants, Inter Milan have sacked coach Frank de Boer. The Dutch tactician have not lived up to expectations since replacing Roberto Mancini in the summer, having won four Dutch titles in less than six years with Ajax.

On Monday, he was informed over the PHONE during a conference call with Inter Milan's Chinese owners that his contract has been terminated.

The Dutchman has only been in charge since August, and has won just five of his 14 games in charge, which have left the club 12th on the Serie A table.

De Boer posted on his instagram account, "It's a shame it had to end this way. To push things forward I needed more time.

A club statement read: ""Internazionale Milan announce that it has today terminated the contract of coach Frank de Boer.

"The club would like to thank Frank and his staff for the work they have done and wish them the best for the future."

The Barcelona Legend was at the training ground on Tuesday morning to bid farewell to his players and backroom staff.
