CONTE ADMITS THAT MORATA COULD PLAY AGAINST ROMA IN THE CHAMPIONS LEAGUE.

Chelsea Manager, Antonio Conte has confirmed Alvaro Morata is on course to start Wednesday’s Champions League clash with Roma.

The Spanish striker has been absent since limping out of Chelsea’s Premier League defeat at home to Manchester City on September 30, but could play some part in Wednesday's Champions League cracker against Roma.

Here are what Conte said;

ON MORATA'S FITNESS LEVEL
“Alvaro is in contention for tomorrow’s game. He’s been training with us and he is in contention for tomorrow.”

WILL MORATA PLAY?
“Do you think differently?”
“We know very well what is our situation. For sure when there are injuries of this type and important players, for sure it is difficult for us. It is very difficult.

“But there is this situation and we must be very good to overcome and to try to do our best. But it is not simple when you do not have players like Morata and Kante. Important players.”

ON THE INJURY FRONT
“The problem is that we are always playing the same players. We also have players that are not used to playing three days in a row. Kante it is the first time. Moses. Alonso it is the same.
