GOALKEEPER IN ENGLAND SENT OFF FOR URINATING DURING A MATCH.
Salford City goalkeeper Max Crocombe was left red faced after he was sent off for URINATING during his side's 2-1 win at Bradford Park Avenue on Saturday, reports the Mirror.
The stopper clearly couldn't wait to go, and was dismissed in the 86th minute of the National League North game, forcing outfield player Richie Allen to go in goal.
Salford - who are part-owned by former Manchester United 'Class of 92' stars Gary and Phil Neville, Paul Scholes, Nicky Butt and Ryan Giggs - were initially unaware of what their goalkeeper had been sent off for.
The club's official account tweeted: "Red Card! Crocombe see red for something off the ball. No one has a clue what has happened."
Bradford Park Avenue were also unclear as to what happened, tweeting: "RED CARD! This is bizarre.
Salford goalkeeper Max Crocombe has been dismissed and no one knows why..."
However, they were soon enlightened as to what happened, adding: "We can confirm that Crocombe has been sent off for urinating during the game. We are not joking."
Match of the Day presenter Gary Lineker tweeted about the incident, writing: "If that's true, I'd have been given a lifetime ban for a s***.
Crocombe is a New Zealand youth international who has also had spells with Oxford United, Barnet and Carlisle United.
